Here are a few of the most common problems entrepreneurs experience with their emerging businesses.

1. Lacking traction with customers
   1. You may be offering too many products to a broad audience or not getting the depth of engagement with your current clients, or you're looking for new ones.
      
   2. There is no substitute to having great conversations with your client to understand their needs. Once you deeply understand their needs, designing the solution becomes clearer

2. Unbalanced because the business runs you
   1. Day to day operations can get the best of any of us.
   2. Being reminded of what is important through a review of the plan for your life and a few hours reassessing your schedule and outcomes will help

3. Knowing where you want to go but not sure how to get there
   1. As an entrepreneur, it is sometimes easy to have vision for where you want the business to be in several years. However, figuring out the path to connect the dots between here to there is harder.
   2. Step 04 in The Entrepreneur Roadmap below will help you build a plan from the 5-10 year plan, to a 3 year, to a 1 year to a 90 day, to projects, and what needs to be done this week.
4. Finding and keeping the right people
   1. The best way to attract and keep the right people is being clear in your Vision, Mission, Values and Goals (VMVG). In other words, where you're going, who you serve and how, what you stand for, and what to do next. People want this and will stick around and tell their friends to join.
   2. Step 05 in The Entrepreneur Roadmap below is all about the team and hiring.
5. Getting employees to be productive and accountable for their work
   1. Similar to the point above, VMVG are very important as a framework to contain the expectations
   2. Next, once you are clear on what needs to be done next, each person should know what their role is in the big picture.
   3. Then, getting a good rhythm of daily touch points, weekly accountability and quarterly planning will have a major impact.
   4. Step 05 again, is all about getting your team working at the top of their game.
6. Trouble raising capital for scaling
   1. This is often because the story to the investor is not clear, the ask might be off or the business is not designed for scaling.
   2. There are many moving parts to make this work. Investors want to know only two things:
      1. Are the numbers realistic?
      2. Do you have the plan and the people to carry out a successful ROI?
